Maintenance Services

CellXion's Maintenance Services Programs provide a level of security to your shelter solution and protect your investment. Available on all shelters, regardless of manufacturer, we offer both basic and premium maintenance packages. While both plans offer inspection and maintenance, our premium plan provides advanced repair and/or replacement for damaged areas. It also offers preventive measures to help protect your investment in the future. Offered annually or semi-annually, both plans are at the option of the customer and include both interior and exterior inspections and maintenance.

Our interior inspection includes examination of the following:

• Door seal, frame, and threshold
• Cleanliness of the floor, walls, ceiling, wire way, cable tray, ground bars and other equipment
• Floor tiles, baseboard molding, seam covers, and any evidence of invasion of rodents and insects
• Ceiling, walls, and floor for water intrusion
• Smoke or heat detectors, overhead and exit lights
• Receptacles to make sure they are functioning properly
• Backup batteries for signs of leaking, corrosion, or other damage, and battery mount
• Conduit, cable trays, and grounding

Exterior inspection includes:

• Cleanliness of the shelter, graffiti, coloration of stain or sealer on aggregate, peeling or fading of exterior paint on the trim and doors, HVAC units, and any possible rusting bolts
• Cracks in the walls or foundation, attachment to the foundation, water between the floor and foundation, and any grouting or caulking on the floor
• Caulk around exterior units such as HVAC, light fixtures, canopy, waveguides, drip caps, etc.
• Mounting hardware on HVAC units
• Caulking at seams, walls, roofs, grounding inserts, and floor frames
• Motion sensors, lights, and GFCI plugs
• Doors, locks, louvers, waveguide and waveguide bridge connection
• Roof – (We will look for cracks in the roof or roofing material, bubbles, loosened roof edges, seams, roof flashing, and gutters)

CellXion's interior maintenance includes a thorough cleaning of the walls, ceiling, wire way, cable tray, ground bars and other equipment. If you choose the premium plan, we will clean and wax the floor. Our basic maintenance plan repairs broken and malfunctioning items, replacing them when absolutely necessary. Our premium plan goes one step further providing advanced repair and preventive measures including fumigating for rodent invasion and using an infrared tester to check for hotspots in the main load center.

For exterior protection both plans will patch, recaulk and repair cracked and broken items. The premium plan will recaulk the entire seam rather than just where there is damage, and apply a layer of top coat on the complete roof. We also offer additional services including repainting of the exterior frame and door, and replacement of the existing HVAC system with new, energy efficient units to comply with Title VI of the Clean Air Act.
